SLSL is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization The objective of this league is to promote, foster and perpetuate the game of soccer by encouraging physical conditioning, encouraging a healthy attitude towards good sportsmanship, promoting cooperative teamwork and developing individual skills. All our programs are staffed and coached by volunteers. They come from different soccer backgrounds. Some are first generation soccer people still learning about the game; others have only experienced soccer from the intramural or recreational level; still others have participated at the interscholastic and collegiate levels. One thing we all have in common is a desire to provide the best possible soccer environment for the children in our area.
We need coaches and assistant coaches! It does not matter if you don’t understand what “off-sides” means, or how to dribble a ball. We will help and provide you with the training. We need energetic fun people. If you are interested, please contact the director of your child’s program (Intramural, Northern Valley or Travel).
